About the Author

Photo of Santosh Ghosh

Santosh Ghosh is a widely recognized geologist, academician, industry practitioner and speaker with direct experience in the energy industry, research, academia, and public sector mineral exploration. He has published and presented extensively in international geological journals and conferences.

After earning his B.Sc. (Honors) and M.Sc. in geology from the Presidency College, Calcutta University, he completed his Ph.D. at Binghamton University, New York, as a U.S. Government Fulbright Scholar. A certified petroleum geologist, he is an emeritus member of AAPG and SEPM. Now living in the Greater Toronto Area, this book reflects his 5-decade-long international career and passion for geology, including reflections on climate change and its human impact.
